How does the paradaisical connotation of a garden incite the feeling of a lost promised land? Are the people of Bangalore in all their interwebbed former-pensioner's-paradise now tier 1 city now losing the unique-selling-point of tree-cover? How has the bourgeois environmentalist assimilated meaning=making from neoliberal governance? The play enacts this profundity between a Dakhani gardener's son, and an anglo-Indian family who lose their gardened bungalow for the greater good of development.
